Had a blast selling @ the Volstead. What a cute bar. Great cocktails and an old school , speakeasy feel. Sold a bunch .. my inventory is whittling down but I still have so much ! I might set up on South Congress to sell one of these Saturdays.
We will see.
Sunday morning , hungover we hogged on pizza .. napped .. & Charlie headed to work. Then I headed out to pick up some last minute goodies for my sweeeeetheart's birthday. Baked him the most delicious carrot cake & made the icing from scratch (of course) as well. Man it was SO good. Here's the recipe, I left out the raisins and coconut. Not fans of those in cake.
Monday morning I surprised him with his cake and preznts.Then we got ready and headed to barton springs and rented a canoe.
2 hours deep it started getting 2hot so we brought it back and relaxed by the springs for a bit... and went for a swim ! Yes I braved the icy waters.
Then home for a nap & Mother's for dinner ! holy artichoke enchilada's. Mmm. So good.
So yeah, my weekend consisted of good people, moscow mules, pizza, enchiladas, AND cake.
Time to go to the gym.
