i do not have a car
i ride my bike everywhere
so i can eat like a fatt-e
austin is a town full of food connoisseurs
giving me all kinds of yummies to sample every day.
last thursday (i think) i sampled me some ugly banjo's ..
a truck parked in the little trailer park next to the east side drive in
ordered the JIMMY CRACK CHICKEN
buttermilk fried chicken breast with honey truffle butter
collard greens , and hatch green chile mac & cheese
the chicken was fried perfectly with a crunchy breading and a little sweetness
to it that blended well with the creamy mac n cheese. I wasn't a huge fan
of the bitter collard greens though. definitely a very rich meal... if you're
every having a sweet , crunchy , creamy cheesy craving go there !
I would nix the collards and double the mac n cheez next time..
though it may leave me feeling blimpy. o well.
ON TO MY NEXT
little trailer friend space
LOVE BALLS

(this was on another day mind U.. not that piggy)
man I was excited to find out about this gem
I never would have thought to find in texas :D :D
Takoyaki are little fried dumpling type balls filled with octopus.
not much like your traditional dumpling but a softer , pancakelike batter.
I ordered the love special , takoyaki + garlic rice ball
the rice ball is a big lump of japanese sushi rice grilled with
garlic soy sauce , served with a big slab of seaweed so you
can wrap it like a giant sushi roll. i doused this in sriracha
